about

You may be excused for thinking the Ambush Family Tree had been a quiet in 2016 with this being their first release since the Free Fire album surfaced in January, The team of elite Bristol junglists have been cementing a name for themselves with a string of roadblock bi-monthly sessions in 2016, boat parties, clothing lines and overseas label nights that have seen the brands following expand considerably.

Sinai, who founded the label with partner in rhyme Carasel unleashes a heavy cattle prod sting in this double A side single Taser / Derailed that gives us a sneak preview into how he has developed as an artist and sets the tone for his breathtaking forthcoming project with Critical Impact set to surface in the Winter.

Taser is first up and propels a non fatal charge straight into your chest plate. The track rolls out with force whilst the sounds of electric currents strike and shock throughout and almost metal gear solid sounding call to attention ensure the dance floor is grabbed from the kick off.

‘When she said his name the last time’ echoes out and all hell breaks loose in ‘Derailed’. This superb driving track encapsulates Sinai’s trademark darker sound with a haunting sample complementing the charging drums that pound their way through any soundsystem with the force of a bullet train coming of its rails. Absolute destruction
